Directions to the Saunders Gorge Sanctuary

From Adelaide Northern Suburbs:- Main north east road B10 to Mt Pleasant
At Mt Pleasant take the Walker Flat Road (green highways sign to Swan Reach)
after 18km turn left onto dirt road at the Saunders Gorge Sanctuary sign and follow the signs.

From Adelaide city & southern suburbs:- Depart Adelaide via the M1 South Eastern Freeway
Exit freeway at the Hahndorf Exit then Follow the Brown Tourism signs all the way to Birdwood ( National Motor Museum). You will be on the B34 At Birdwood turn right to Mt Pleasant B10.
At Mt Pleasant take the Walker Flat Road (green highways sign to Swan Reach)
after 18km turn left onto dirt road at the Saunders Gorge Sanctuary sign and follow the signs.

From Murray Bridge take the road to Palmer.
At Palmer turn right towards Mannum approximately 4kms turn left (at railway crossing).
After about 12kms cross Mount Pleasant to Walkers Flat main road, we have a sign at this corner.
Follow our signs to Saunders Gorge Sanctuary.

From Mannum head towards Palmer turn right at railway crossing.
This sealed road  takes you in front of grain silos
